Can you hold a place before I apply?
No we do not hold properties. You would need to apply, be approved, sign the lease, and pay the security deposit in order for a property to be taken off the market. -
Do I pay first month’s rent and last month’s rent with my security deposit?
Just the first month’s rent and security deposit. -
How old do you have to be to apply?
18 -
Is the deposit refundable?
The security deposit is refundable as long as there is no damage or violations of lease terms that would necessitate not refunding some or all of the security deposit. -
Who needs a cosigner?
Co-signers are done on a case by case basis and there is no set criteria. -
You have a property I want to rent. How do I apply?
Applications are done right on our website www.MasterKeyPM.com. Find the available property and click Apply Now. -
How do I pay rent?
Rent is paid online via your secure tenant portal. We do not take checks. -
I want to get a pet. What do I do?
If you are an existing tenant, please contact your property manager to discuss first. At a minimum you would need to submit a pet profile for screening with our third party animal screening service. Once approved, you would need to sign a pet addendum and pay any applicable pet fees. -
I want to move out, but my roommate wants to stay. What do I do?
Contact your property manager to discuss. -
My lease expiration is coming and I want to move out. What do I do?
From within your Resident Portal, submit your notice to vacate within the allowable notice period. Your property manager will contact you with the next steps. -
Who is responsible for paying for repairs & maintenance requests?
Generally, the owner of the property will be responsible for repairs and maintenance. However, if the repair is part of an action caused by a tenant, the tenant would be responsible.
